And we're baaaaaaaaaack!

(You should hear Jimmy Fallon's voice when reading that title, btw.)

Turns out that vacation with a toddler and an infant is a lot of work.

We went off on vacation and are finally home. I still am not unpacked -- why bother when the dryer is broken and there's nothing but dirty clothes in the bags? I also haven't downloaded new photos from the camera and cell phone. So.much.to.do.

But since I left without saying anything (kind of like not leaving "We are out of town" on the answering machine), I thought I would at least mention that we made it home alive.

  1. Young children give vacation a whole new meaning, don't they? What memories, though.

  2. I don't usually read the Daily Kos - it's too whiny! But this story was funny and relevant considering the number of bathrooms we've hit while on the road recently:

Oh, btw I've gone back to using My Biscuit's Daddy because My Bakery's Daddy didn't seem to work as well.

Oh, yes. Vacation with 2 was a lot different than last year's vacation with one.

  4. Thanks for stopping by my blog, Benbo, to introduce yourself. I couldn't figure out how to email you (new to this whole blogging thing), so I hope it's okay I leave you a little note here. My daughter has ToF as well. She'll have surgery 11/9 as long as her oxygen saturation stays good until then. I'm so glad your son is doing well, and congrats on the birth of your sweet cupcake (we started calling our daughter "cupcake" in the NICU because she smelled like one--came to find out it was the pacifier that smelled like vanilla cupcakes!). Anyways, I'd love to keep in touch a bit--it's comforting to know I'm not alone.

  5. Hannah (just in case the email bounces),

To send me email from here you would have to view my full profile. There's an email link on that page. Guess I should add that to my main page, huh?

I'll send you an email in the morning. Right now (2:18am) I'm beat and need to get to bed!

I don't think it can be called a vacation anymore when you take it with a toddler and an infant! LOL
